Kimchi Avocado Toast

Who doesn’t love avocado toast ?? This recipe is a spin to the classic avo toast, adding kimchi to add a sweet, spicy and umami flavour that pairs perfection with the richness of avocado and egg!

Tip: Don’t overcook your kimchi as it’ll get too mushy!

Kimchi Avocado Toast

Ingredients
  • 1 slice of sourdough bread
  • 1 Egg
  • 1⁄4 cup of kimchi, chopped
  • 1 tsp of olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tbsp of chopped green onions
Directions
  1. Toast the sourdough in a toaster until golden brown
  2. Chop the kimchi into bitesize pieces.
  3. Add olive oil to a pan on low-medium heath. Add the kimchi and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Set aside
  4. On the same pan, crack the egg and cover the pan with a lid for 3-4 minutes.
  5. To serve, add kimchi on top of toast followed by the sunny side up egg, green onions + salt.
